Care
Skooleez OSHC offers After School Care which ensures your child has a safe and fun place to go each day.
We provide our children a wide variety of activities and environments to choose from including shared school facilities. We have larges spaces for construction and play activities where children can collaborate, create and learn.
There are quiet, serene spaces to sit and watch when your child craves a little peace after a busy day at school.
Locations
Before & After School care is offered at Maida Vale Primary for children attending Maida Vale and Gooseberry Hill Primary.
Before & After School Care is offered at Helena Valley Primary for children attending Helena Valley Primary.
After School Care Routine
At the end of the school day
At the end of the school day, students of Maida Vale Primary and Helena Valley Primary from year 2 to year 6 make their way to Skooleez, located within the grounds of each school.
Kindy to year 1 students are collected from their classrooms by our experienced Educators.
Catching the bus
Children attending schools offsite will be collected by our dedicated bus service at the end of the school day. Kindy – Year 1 students are collected from their classrooms and older children all meet at our designated meeting point, ready to safely depart for Skooleez Maida Vale.
Afternoon tea
During after school care, we offer nutritious and allergy-aware snacks while promoting healthy eating.
We have an afternoon tea bar which is open from 3.30 – 4.15pm. While the staff encourage children to eat, sometimes the children may not be hungry during this period, so fruit will always be available.
Homework
Homework can be done if parents specifically request that their child do so. A quiet space is offered and children are encouraged to work in groups.

Afternoon tea is served from 3:30 – 4:15pm, with fruit available at other times if required.
